The face panel is the detail that makes this one work. A black latex layer sits over a silver base, cut in a heart shape that frames the eyes, nose and mouth — the silver border of each opening visible where the two layers meet. Round eye cuts with silver trim, open nose, open mouth with silver trim. The contrast between the two colours is sharp and deliberate, and the heart silhouette reads as graphic rather than sentimental at 0.40mm.
